Premium New Home Builds in Taupo by Our Newest Franchisees

  • We’ve welcomed two new members to the David Reid Homes design and build team. Taupo locals Scott and Melissa Hare, right, have taken the reins of the Taupo franchise, covering the central plateau from Tokoroa in the north, to Taihape in the south.

The pair are set to deliver new home builds in Taupo with a difference, bringing with them more than a decade’s experience in the construction industry, as well as a passion for exceeding expectations and delivering only the finest homes for their clients.

The couple both value a hands-on approach to their work, and while Scott will be heading the project management aspects of the business, Melissa will manage its administration.

“Working individually with our clients right throughout the process enables us to develop a really strong partnership, which we believe is very important, and something that our clients really value,” Scott says.

The couple did their research before joining the David Reid Homes team, speaking to other franchisees throughout the country about their work.

“[We] received nothing but excellent feedback on the David Reid Homes business model and approach to business,” Scott says.

“Our focus is on building homes that have been designed to meet our clients’ specific requirements and we also have an exciting range of pre-designed homes that clients can be inspired by.”

Scott and Melissa are joined in their venture by Raewyn Mackie, their in-house designer and colour-consultant, who works closely with clients to ensure they are presented with a scheme that will work perfectly for them and their new home.

“We offer a complete building service right from the planning and resource consent stage through to final fit-out,” Scott says.

David Reid Homes Taupo is committed to delivering clients quality custom-architectural new home builds in Taupo and surrounding areas which exceed their expectations.

They are currently working on a showhome in the Ngā Roto Estate subdivision, which will be open to view in the new year.
