Fraser Mackenzie, the owner of the David Reid Homes franchise in Queenstown, is particularly passionate about thermal efficiency.

“Every house in New Zealand should be warm, dry and energy-efficient,” says Mackenzie who is currently installing Nudura, a Canadian poly-block system, in his next show home which will make the house perform like a thermos and keep the cost of running it very low.

Fraser is also a director of MAXRaft, a fully-insulated foundation system with no thermal bridging, that earned accreditation from Homestar, Codemark, the New Zealand Green Building Council, EnviroSpec, and ECOBOB.

As the design and build specialists, David Reid Homes know that thermal efficiency does not have to come at the expense of style.  We are passionate about building homes that are both aesthetically pleasing and efficient.  If you are thinking about building a house that combines both form and function, contact your nearest David Reid Homes builder and we’ll start bringing your dream home to life.
