A Recap of an Outstanding 2020 with David Reid Homes

  • This year, we have been incredibly busy, including opening new show homes, in both the North and South Island, attending an awesome national conference in Queenstown with all our teams and major suppliers, and we’ve achieved some outstanding results at several home awards.

    New Weston, Oamaru Show Home:

Built by the David Reid Homes Waitaki team, headed by Aaron and Nikki MacKay. Designed to perfectly frame the section with its contemporary bold lines, the open plan living, kitchen and dining open onto the outdoor living space, making this home glide seamlessly onto the decks and alfresco living. The design of this home allows for ample natural light and heat to spill into all three of the bedrooms, with underfloor heating warming the home, and the gas fireplace creating perfect ambience.

New Havelock North, Hawke's Bay Show Home:

Opening only recently, this home was built by the David Reid Homes Hawke’s Bay team. It showcases the signature quality workmanship and attention to detail of all of our builds. Architecturally designed, with 3 bedrooms (and separate media room) this home combines contemporary styling with practical and hardwearing materials. Positioned for all-day sun, the open plan living and outdoor room allows for the ultimate kiwi indoor/outdoor lifestyle. The striking cladding combination of dark vertical panels and rusticated cedar weatherboards, coupled with the landscaped boardwalk entry, give this single level home strong curb side appeal, and built to last

    David Reid Homes National Conference:

Franchisees and supply partners from across the country descended on stunning Queenstown in late September. Following a welcome dinner on arrival, day one of the conference saw them board the TSS Earnslaw to sail to Walter Peak Station. On day two we got down to work and our franchise directors enjoyed a number of business sessions followed by ‘speed dating’ with our suppliers, a fantastic opportunity for exposure across the country for both parties.
